We contacted Terminix for a flea infestation that we thought was brought onto our property by a semi-feral cat. The service representative lied and said the issue was actually due to a rodent infestation in our attic.
We agreed to remediation, reinsulation of our attic, and rodent control, treatment and reincapsulation of the vapor barrier in our crawl space, which was covered by two separate contracts with their finance agency. When the time came to do the work, all Terminix did was tear out the vapor barrier, seal one of four crawl space vents, and provide one treatment for fleas. Two subsequent pest control companies meanwhile said there was no such infestation in our attic and crawlspace, but this is not why we cancelled the contract (despite the technician's bald-faced lie). On more than one occasion, when work was scheduled, the technicians did not show up.
As instructed, we removed ourselves and our pets from the house, only to come home to find no work had been done. In the meantime, the trapper for the rodent control left the traps languishing for so long that a possum on our property was trapped and died of starvation or heat exhaustion (a service technician with another pest control company discovered the poor thing in a trap). Frustrated, we cancelled service. Now, Terminix wants from 2100 to 3000 dollars for one of the two contracts.
Repeated efforts to negotiate a fairer price have gone unanswered. We've tried reaching out to Terminix corporate, branch, and district managers, only to have the case languish for over a year. The BBB left our case open, meaning Terminix did not in their view offer a satisfactory response to our complaint. Additionally, the branch manager we tried to work with lied to the BBB about the nature of our complaint as well.
We've subsequently referred the case to the GA Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. 2100 to 3000 dollars for the poor quality, minimal amount of work performed is a ridiculous amount to demand given how we were treated as consumers and what little was done.

I started receiving their services early March 2024. I was set up for the payment every month. Everything was going great until today.
Today, I received a letter from their company saying they will send me to collections if I don’t pay off this $390 invoice. What $390 bill? You mean the one where I have 6 payments left?
I called customer service and spoke to Christopher. I explained to Chris that I shouldn't be sent to collections if I made the monthly payments every month. He didn't seem like he cared and told me that I owe $390 because my credit card payments didn’t go through back in May 2024. But that's crazy because it's the same credit card I've been using for all my account autopays.
I also explained to Chris that I also messaged Sandra, the email support representative on November 4, 2025, because I received a notification that there was something wrong with my account. Sandra stated it was nothing and it was just November's invoices.
I asked Chris before I pay this supposedly $390 if he would send me an email on everything we talked about. He said he would send that email in 30 minutes.
It's been 10 hours. No email from Chris. I've been in their phone queue for over 3 hours. I only spoke to one person, and she transferred me. I had no issues with the services with my technician, Landon. He was great and very friendly.
But customer service? *** you.

Terminix is a terrible company. We've reached out to them multiple times with evidence that they were paid.
We're always promised the "Billing Department " would get back to us, but they never do. They send emails asking to update our credit card information so that they can overcharge us.
It's disgusting. We wish someone from the company would get back to us to resolve this lack of acknowledgement of payment, but it never happens.
We have spoken to no less than 3 representatives because a payment sent in before it was due was acknowledged as received and cashed, but is not credited to our account. They're asking for a credit card for payment you've already received.
Three times we have provided proof you received the payment and they said 'billing' would get back to us.
It's been over a month. We're quite disenchanted.

A tech came by today, and walked the site, inspected the attic, and inspected traps that had been laid a while ago. Happy with that service.
Next week they are scheduled to provide the "exclusion service" to bar critters from continuing their assault on the the house.
When that is completed, we will be satisfied that the service we paid for has been received. Will update at that time.
We have called Terminix numerous times to honor the wildlife exclusion feature of our service. Critters are setting up shop in the attic.

I have filed a formal complaint concerning the Ronkonkoma, Long Island Terminix office and specifically the manager, Andrew Steinberg. I had an issue with the quality of service that I received, posted a review on Yelp, and was contacted by the social media staff with the assurance that Mr.

Later, I was told when I called customer service that he had received my complaint but had not had a response from him. I would think that Terminix would want to investigate an employee who ignores his customers.

- - Long-time Terminix customer; past tech was great, but now scheduling is hard, techs vary, prices rise, and an upsell led to an exclusion contract.
Although they have canceled my service they have not canceled the contract with the finance company. My first payment is scheduled for today 1 MAY 25 and I have reached out to the branch manager.
I called the phone number he called me from.
It rang multiple times and then went to voicemail. I left him a voicemail with no response so far.
This is where my troubles started. My 'local' branch is over an hour away from me. Trying to schedule someone to come out is almost impossible. If they do come out, even though I've told them when making the appointment what my issue is, they never have the right equipment or enough of it to complete the job. When I asked for poison traps for mice or glue traps, they never seem to have enough. I get a different technician every time they do come out and 'service.'
Now let's talk about them constantly bumping up my price. I understand inflation happens. You have to pay for your tech's gasoline and your chemicals. This shouldn't be a constant thing, and I shouldn't have to call and threaten to cancel just to get my price down where it's reasonable. I recommended Terminix to my children when they were old enough to have their own place. They had the same issues I had with inconsistent technicians, technicians not actually doing their job, etc. They all canceled their services after a year or so.
I maintained my service even after all of these issues came up. At one point several years ago, I needed something called 'exclusion service' because of a mouse/bat problem in my home. We are clean people but live near the woods, and the home is older. We got the service even though it was pricey. We decided to also have them blow in new insulation into our attic.
The attic and the exclusion services were great. When the time came to renew the exclusion service, I didn't feel the need. For the two years we were under contract, we no longer had a mouse or bat issue. We decided to cancel. When we started having the issues again, I called to try to get them to reinstate that, and they said no because I have a metal roof. I had a metal roof before, but now for some reason, I can't have it.
Fast forward to last month. We had a new 'Pest Control Consultant,' Ethan Seckel, come out and basically look around the house and try and sell me something. He said we needed exclusion service and termite service. I told him I agreed with the exclusion but not the termite. I also mentioned to him that I needed a wood-burrowing inspection done for a refinance on the home. He said he would do the inspection I needed for free if I would agree to one of his services. He mentioned the inspection I needed was normally $300+. I knew I needed the exclusion anyway, so I thought it was a win-win. Boy, was I wrong!
He had me sign a two-year contract and to pay $107 a month for the two years for the exclusion service. He said to give him until Monday to have the inspection complete and that he would send it over to me for me to sign. Monday came and went, no inspection. I reached out to him, and he didn't respond. I reached out to him again, and he said he had forgotten. He said he would work on it. A few days went by, and my loan company was breathing down my neck about getting this inspection done. I reached back out to him, and he had no response. I waited a day or two, and I reached out again. He said he had taken the weekend off to go fishing, and he would get back to me on the next Monday. I reached out to him twice that Monday and never got a reply. It's now been three weeks. I've still not got a reply.
I decided to take it to the company. I spoke with them on chat in order to have a record of the conversation. They said they would have someone come out and do the inspection, but there would be a fee. I informed them I wasn't going to pay the fee. I was told it would be free for signing up for the exclusion service. I was also told the inspection that Ethan had set up wasn't the right one.
As far as the exclusion service, Ethan told me all these elaborate things that the technician would do to ensure my home was sealed up and keep the mice out. Two days later, a man showed up with a little steel wool and some expanding foam. He said he had to order a dryer vent cover for me. He said he would be back to check on the poison traps. I asked him about all the elaborate things he was supposed to do, and he said he would come back and do those. He never came back. The only time I was even able to hear from that team was when their manager told me he would be sending the tech back out. That's after I requested to cancel my service and to speak to the branch manager. The only thing this worthless customer service department can do is email the branch manager and district managers. I've now called four times to cancel the exclusion service since the initial visit by Ethan. No one is returning my calls or sending me any emails. This has been the most ridiculously abysmal example of how to treat long-term customers and customers in general. All I want is to cancel my services and not be charged the $107 a month for absolutely unacceptable service. When I call the customer support department, they tell me they can't do anything until the branch manager reviews the cancellation. Well, why hasn't he reviewed it in three weeks? Why can't he get off his lazy butt and actually do some work? Why am I the one who has to pay for his incompetence? This is ridiculous!

Not only would I never use them again I'm telling everyone I know every survivor every person that over came anything is life never go with Terminix in Lafayette Louisiana because the Branch MANAGER speaks to women with less respect he would give to his own kids.
I have been on the phone all day about my order.
I called for a appointment and they came out of yesterday. The guy told me he saw the issue, we had seen a mouse and I paid over 250 dollars that same day for someone to come out to take care of it. The guy told me someone would call me today and set up my appointment time for tomorrow. No one came. I called today and I was told an appointment time was set up for 11-1. No one called texted or emailed me to make sure I would be home or even if I was okay with it but I needed the services so I said ok..i was told I had an old bill. I informed them I didn't know and said let me take care of that right now as I did.
I stayed home called my work and told them I was just told that I had an appointment I can't missed. They were not happy as you can imagine hours before I was to show up. Well right before 1 no one came or called and I the customer called them AGAIN. I was told that MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED they didn't know why and no one can come out today. I was UPSET. I felt used and mistreated. I called again and was told the something. I told them everything I just told you and they tried to call the home office and tech but told me they tried more than twice and no one would answer and they could set me for tomorrow. I was so upset, but I needed someone to come and I had paid. I told them tomorrow morning. They told me no one can come tomorrow morning it would have to be tomorrow for. 3-5. I told them I felt horrible because as a customer first I was lied to that someone would call me for an appointment and they never did. Next I call them the next day and an appointment time was set that I never agreed to. I had to call into work to be off that day now. No one showed up nor called texted or email me as I waited on them and come to find out my appointment was cancelled and I wasn't notified but was waiting and now I have to put aside not only a day or work missed but also family plans for tomorrow evening going to a basketball game where my nephew was playing and my daughter was cheering. I had no choice to accept THEIR time. I felt like they were the customer now.
Customer Service was awesome they actually listened to me and understood why I was frustrated.
I leave to pick my daughter up from school she gets in the car half way home my phone rings and it a guy who identifies himself as the branch manger.
He tells me that I'm going to return your payment and remove you from services. I tell him why because I spoke with higher up? He meanly says NO BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A YOU ARE NOT A GOOD CUSTOMER AND I LOOKED AT YOUR ACCOUNT AND MANY TIMES YOU HAVE NOT PAID THREE TIME YOU WENT WITH OUT PAYING ONCE FOR YEARS AND YOU ONLY PAID IT THIS TIME TO GET SERVICES BACK! I told him but I paid and that's not why I paid as I told them before I didn't know it was a payment ONE payment unpaid when my account was not paid and when I found out each time I paid it. He said once you went years with out that payment. I said yes I felt on hard time those three times BUT when I found out and got it I paid it and return and Terminix have NEVERRRR had an issue with me but I did fall on hard times. I could have not paid it and easily went somewhere else but I didn't. I paid it each time no matter if it was a year or so I STILL paid it and came back with no issues. He was busy screaming at me saying you don't pay your bills and you want to be upset or something like that and I just kept saying I fell on hard times but I never went anywhere else I got my stuff better paid Terminix and came back. He said I'm blocking you on all Terminix and saying to not add you back anywhere. I told him that's fine as you said send my money back or how ever y'all do it don't process the payment whatever let it return to my card and I'll find another one because there are so many out there and they will take ownership of a mistake and try to make it right but you pull up old bill that went unpaid but we're paid and make that the discussion as I'm still a customer that was requiring services that I DID pay for and you are upset because I went over your head. He said I've never met you before what are you talking about. I said again that's fine you haven't.
My issues is as a BRANCH MANAGER he allowed his emotions to get the best of him because he was upset that I reached out to others with my issues when I couldn't get to him. I had every right to. No matter what I HAD PAID for services that day and he treated me like a homeless person asking for a favor or a dollar. How do you talk to someone like that who just paid 250 plus dollars for a service that didn't get alone with the 89 dollars owed? I PAID all that and he treated me like a ***
What he didn't know and I didn't feel I had to explain my "HARD TIMES" I felt on was I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had my surgery and three lumps were removed. I was out of work and only my husband was working with a kid at McNeese University, one in highschool and one in middle school so we had to let go off things we wanted for the things we definitely needed as far as lights water etc. the pest control became something we can get back later as we did. I return back when I got well and paid my account and continue as normal.
Well, I got breast cancer again. This time it came back more aggressively and I was told I would need a double mastectomy to save my life. My oldest was now graduating from college and took off his senior year to come home and work at Wendy's to help in the house because I couldn't. WE HAD NO MONEY. I can remember talking to my technician who was a sweet guy and telling him all this. My other son was playing basketball trying to get a scholarship. My work let me go although I wasn't upset because I would be out for more than a year, I understood. My husband just did his own lil pest control for us. It was working and I was okay.
Recently my daughter saw a mouse. My husband now work out of town and only comes home on the weekend. We are at a better play, more stable place where I don't have to go for a while and stop to keep the light and other bills paid. He got some traps but they were not working so I asked him could I go back to Terminix for peace of mind. He said he would put it on his card and take care of the bill so I called to start over to only have your branch Manager call me and disrespectful tell me all he did. My daughter was with her she's 15! Her words were momma I wish daddy was here because that man would have never spoken to daddy like he did to you.
I told her unfortunately you will meet grown men who will do things like that. He has no clue all we went thru. He just kept throwing at me how I didn't pay my bills not knowing we were worried about winter coats and food and bills and he can't even respect that when we got right i CAME BACK TO TERMINIX. I never tried to go anywhere else. I stayed as true to them as I could for him to call my phone and tell me all he just said. He doesn't know I'm walking around breastless. That i went bald TWICE. That thank GOD for all the cancer programs that gave you all Christmas gifts when we couldn't. And he's a BRANCH MANAGER.
But it's okay because EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA EVERY BREAST CANCER GROUP AND ON THEIR PAGE I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT TERMINX BRANCH MANAGER DID. EVERY REVIEW I CAN GIVE. ANYONE I TALK TO. ALL MY CHURCH MEMBERS EVERY RELATIVE AND EVERY SURVIVOR EVERY DOCTOR NURSE EVERYONE WILL KNOW

Call this company on Monday for a bee issue. I was told that they would send someone out the next day.
I had to put my credit card on file. No one showed up or even freaking called. I called to find out that it was only for an estimate and scheduled for May 23. I did not schedule for that.
I have a bee issue, not bugs. I called again to customer service and was told that it was wrong the way they handled it by not even coming or calling. The lady said she would get someone out this week if she could. She then informed me she couldn't and said she passed the information to the regional manager and that they were going to call.
It's Friday and I still haven't heard a word from anyone. I have now been sitting on hold for 20 minutes and still going.
Also, my credit card is showing pending charges. I was a first-time customer and now I will never recommend this company to anyone and will be happy to share my negative experience as much as I can.

Hi. I no longer have a contract with Terminix.
You are trespassing on my private property. I am currently out of town. I received an emailed inspection report today from Terminix. My address is 16101 McGregor Rd, Vancleave, MS.
This is my last time concerning your unauthorized entry on my property. Do not enter my property again! I terminated my contract in February 2025 with your office staff in Pascagoula via phone contact. They should refund me my last quarter of payments due to lies upon lies and failed inspections for termites upon request.
They lied from October up to today (didn't come when requested, now coming when no contract or request was made about service, so I'm contacting headquarters). I have another pest control company since about early March 2025! Terminix picked up bait traps that another company had to pull up two weeks after I canceled the service contract, and Terminix said they would pick up in a few days plus get a call from a supervisor. The supervisor never called.
Terminix has no bait traps at my property, so what did your technician have to inspect for Terminix?
Please give this your prompt attention since the Pascagoula, MS office doesn't seem to care. Thanks.

- Very poor customer service
Preferred solution: They have been a problem for the last few years and I tolerated them. I started service back in 2017 or 2018. I would be happy to get back the last five months of my premium starting October 2024-February 2025 as them showing good faith.
User's recommendation: I won't use them again in the 39565 area. They might do well in others but not my area.
